Our Story

At Fritz’s Adventure, our Laser Maze in Branson promises to deliver loads of fun, without the James Bond worries! The maze provides an other-worldly, intergalactic feel as you find your way not through a walled path, but through beams of light.

The Laser Maze provides entertainment for young and old alike. When you enter the maze, your mission is to defeat challenges that have been designed for every skill level. Wiggle, weave, walk, and work your way without touching the lasers to capture the objectives. Or, if you’re feeling truly zap-tastic, go all-out for 40 seconds and annihilate every laser that gets in your way!

Though our maze is futuristic, mazes of all kinds have been around for thousands of years.

The first recorded maze is considered to be an Egyptian labyrinth built in the 5th century B.C. Though a maze technically involves dead ends and a labyrinth doesn’t, historians point to the writings of a super-old dude named Herodotus as having recorded the first instance of a major maze from Egypt’s past.

In the late 1600s, England’s King William III commissioned the Hampton Court Maze. It’s made of growing, live hedges with lots of paths and dead ends. If you straightened out all of the paths, you would end up with a half-mile-long trail. The Hampton Court Maze survives to this day, and people from around the world enjoy its twisty, turny puzzle.

Today’s corn mazes may not have lasers, but the technology used to create many of them involves science on the level of our Laser Maze in Branson. Amazing, massive corn mazes are created using GPS coordinates, and even satellite mapping and camera drones! They get their designs down to the single stalks, creating intricate patterns that could be all original, or team logos, paintings, cartoon figures, and more. When seen from the air, they can fill your eyes with a-maze-ment.
